My simple answer to this group: they're probably a lot like me. Too much work, too much fun, no time for boy, am I right?

(Although...notice the presence of Alexander and North Pillagers on the list of members...but that's not a bad thing unless they're on the fourth floor of University House...in which case, the third floor wants John [?] back...but everyone else? Just wait, guys, just you wait. Everyone eventually likes the nice guys. That's Jacque and I's theory on life...it's all about the nice dudes. And eventually, hey, I might decide to make time, but not now. Change of semesters=bad time to ask about anything other than study groups...aughh!!!)

One final left. Examined Life. I hate Examined Life. My stomach hurts because Dr. Hendon's a great cook and I'm not used to actually eating during finals...aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. And...I like bunny rabbits, neener.

Man, I need to get off this stupid blog and update the Chum Bucket. This, thefacebook, and that whole sleep nonsense are so keeping me away from my actual website with actual content (sort of, occasionally). Not cool.

Ah, the wonders of sweet sweet procrastination. I can't sleep, even though I didn't get piddly squat for sleep the past couple nights because of finals and room selection day. Supposedly the first floor for next year will be University Scholars, and my oh-so-wonderful PRIVATE ROOM is on a Uni's hall, but I'm towards the BIC end of Memorial, so all is well. It's on the third floor, but it's going to be great. No roommate. Personal space. Ahhhhhhhh...

So, I couldn't sleep all last night because of that. Supposedly part of Grant's LiveJournal is going to be printed as part of the advertisement for the Engineering and Computer Science Living and Learning Center here. (Yeah, that's the one residence hall geekier than Alexander. Haha, if they ever printed mine...no, it's not too positive unless they look on the Chum Bucket. But as for that private room for next year...there is a light to the end of the tunnel!) Anyway, that's pretty cool, but I'm trying not to think about anything but World Cultures I, Spanish, and Examined Life today. Grr. I genuinely dislike finals. So, since I've been at it super-hard all day, I'm going to do a fluffy journal quiz stolen from someone else's journal.

So, I wasn't picked to be a CL. Maybe they think I'll be too busy, but sheesh, I've seen CLs who went Greek, soooo...*chirp chirp*...what the pineapple? I'm quite frustrated because everyone else who I know that applied "advanced in the process." Grr. I've heard of one or two people who didn't get it, but they're not the ones who are in it just for the free room, and that frustrates me that so many people I'm hearing about now are in it for that reason. It's too much work for just that.

I hope this isn't an omen of being "knocked" in January...I based the CL application off the Panhellenic registration one, so ouch. (I was like, oh! I already have my clubs and stuff listed out here...haha, I hope that wasn't the reason why.)

"Knocked"=another word for "regrets," where people who didn't get a bid to any of the sororities get a knock on the door sometime between 8 and 10 AM on the last day of recruitment week...knocking=ouch.

Oh well, at least Mom's letting me get a private room--visitors when wanted, not when they're not. Plus I think most of the private rooms are up on the BIC floors, which will suck for move-in, but be fine for everything else, I guess. (Stairs...blecch.)
